Polymer Clay Smiley Face Cane Beginner Project

The smiley face cane was one of the first canes I did after the simple jelly roll. I played around with many designs and settled on this one, taught in the video below. It’s simple, easy to do, and hard to mess up.

Feel free to create this clay cane using any colors, and even add your own features like pupils, hair or nose.

The smiley cane tutorial is part 1 in a 3-part video series where I show you how to create a really cool smiley pen + stand gift set. I first came up with this in high school when I made it as a birthday present for my younger sister. This is a fun beginner project and makes a wonderful handmade gift.
